I have two cockatiels who love to chew! Of course this can often be curtains, coving or anything else which they can reach. So was in need of something which they could chew and cause damage. Pros: + The paper is easy for them to shred and they can often be spotted with a bit of paper in their beak which they're chewing away on + the wicker like material is much more hard wearing than the paper, giving them something they can really go for and attack. It also means they can grab it and pull it about a bit more +it doesn't make a lot of mess Neg: - I am always cautious with plastic items going into cage in case the birds manage to break it and they swallow the plastic. The odd bit I am not sure on I will remove but I also check them regularly and any damaged bits are removed. Price: I know some reviewers have commented that they are expensive for what they are, I'd disagree in a way. For the price I've paid I've got a decent amount of time out them, the birds have enjoyed them and it would have probably cost me more buying the individual items and then having to make it myself. Overall: A decent toy which could stop birds chew other items, keeps them entertained and doesn't create a huge mess. Most importantly two happy birds!

Budgies like the toy with the plastic flowers. I used a chain to hang it like a swing. They have nibbled at the shredded paper in the other toys, but I expected them to be ripping it apart like they do with their willow toys. I've given it 5 it stars because I feel they are well made and reasonably priced.

Both my African greys love these type of toys. They do shred them quick but then all parts of the toys I place into an old shoe box at bottom of their cage for them to forage through and play with the parts they take off.
