He scratches his heads with the ends, undoes the strings… only thing is I have picked it off the floor of the cage too often. I think it needs something a little better to hang from than more rope as he doesn’t know not to undo that knot! lol Figure its good to say what bird I have here as it was a Christmas gift and we are still going strong almost a month on. He is a Black Headed Caique. For those folks saying it is destroyed quickly, it isn't a massively durable toy for your Macaws, African Greys, Amazons. Any big parrots will go through this quickly. However The mental stimulation this creates is worth the price in my opinion for a captive bird to get this excited and love to play with it that much! Also "Destroyed" with my parrot rarely means a toy is done with. It means he has it the way he likes it and then often uses it for preening or snuggling (hes weirdly a cuddly bird!) or occasionally because he misses a woman bird in his life so uses it for that (he's definitely a lover and not a fighter!).

Budgie loved to play with it, but it was hard to find a place for it as it’s quite large. We have a tall cage and a mid sized one and this didn’t fit in either and there was nowhere else to put it. Way too bulky and more suitable for an aviary or specific bird room and for a bigger bird such as a parrot.
