I got this for my budgie as he was getting bored of his old toys and he loves it. It took him a few days to get used to it, but as soon as he moved it and the balls inside made a noise, he hasn't stopped playing with it since. It seems to be well made, from a durable plastic and feels like it will last a long time. Its very easy to attach to the cage and is nice and solid once tightened up. I like that it doesn't take up too much room, so its easy to find room for it at the end of a perch.

It is important to note that the picture showing all the musical notes is quite misleading. This spinning "wheel" only makes a sound because the plastic balls that are inside it get agitated with the movement made by turning the wheel. There is no music whatsoever. It is too early to say if my bird will enjoy this or not. It feels a bit flimsy so I won't get one for my destructive Conure, however, my Budgie should be OK with it. It is very easy to install, just one turning disc at the back to clamp it to the cage through the wires. There is no problem with the size of the fixing disc as it is wider than the average cage bar spacing.

I got this toy for my little Cockatiel as he loves anything that makes a noise, this includes himself when it's daily "screaming hour". The toy comes in a plastic bag and is very easy to install, I gave mine a bird safe disinfecting wipe before attaching it to the cage as it's always better to err on the side of safety. You unscrew the back disc and can then place the toy on either the inside or outside of the cage then screw the disc back to hold the toy in place securely. It screws quite tightly which is good as it would be very difficult, if not impossible, for a small bird to get it loose. It doesn't say what the toy is made from on the product page, which is something I would like to see before purchasing, it feels like acrylic plastic which should be ok for small to medium sized birds but I'd definitely monitor bigger birds whilst they played with this toy and wouldn't leave them unsupervised as the bobbles around the edge are quite small and someone with a big beak and a lot of determination might be tempted to see if they could crack them off. So far my Cockatiel hasn't tried spinning the toy but he's very happily danced whilst I've spun it and has given it his scream of approval. At the time I ordered this toy on 08/07/2024, the price was £9.99 which seems very reasonable as it's definitely sturdy and my cockatiel is very intrigued by it.

It took several weeks for my budgie to feel comfortable with this spinner in his cage. Once he realized it was harmless, he gave it a peck. Now he spins it around while chattering away. The spinner must be well-made because it certainly has been tested. The yellow color is visually attractive. The spinner takes up little room attached to the cage. It is a good value for the money. It’s nice to have a toy that my bird enjoys, and although it rattles, it is not annoying.
